Dear Andy
This is really a finger in the air answer.  We applied on the 24th May
2004 and we are still waiting for our med's and police checks to be
requested.  Our friends applied in October and have had their requests
through.  If you have applied after July 2004 then the wait could be
very short unlike the pre July applicants like us that are sat pulling
their hair out waiting.

Regards

Dave

P.S. offical line is that it could take up to 50 weeks.
