Hi Folks,

I applied under Skilled Migration category and got my Visa stamped
last month and now planning to move to Syndey as soon as possible.

Please if someone can shed someone can tell us about the procedure we
have to go through at the airport or if again we have to fill-up some
forms at the Airport.

As in my case, I'm afraid that I don't know anyone in Sydney and don't
have any address to tell them, if they asked for it... :(

Please shed some light on it.

Thanks in advance.

Everyone has to fill out a passenger arrival card. I think address is on
the card so make something up. You have the visa. The arrivals card is
also your customs declaration. I found the something to declare lane
quicker!! If you have not filled up your duty free allowances then you
are allowed an extra litre of liquor s long as you declare it.

Where do you intend living? Backpackers offer weekly accomodation. Not
luxury but on a budget they are ok.

You could always try the YHA for budget accommodation -
