Can anybody advise us on the TRA Assessment.  My husband is a sheet
metal worker and we are about to begin the assessment but don't want to
mess it up! Thanks.

First of all i would advise using GleNN Newton at Go Matilda to do your
skills assessment for the TRA. Glenn did mine (Sheet Metal) and he is
worth every penny.

TRA want to know everything. What tools were used, how you used them.
Tell it like a story, how you were trained, what experience you gained
at each stage of your employment.

I only have one year trade certification but around 18 years of working
in the trade and got a pass.

If you want anymore help, then either e-mail or PM me. I know how hard
it is so i am more than willing to help you as much as i can

Hi Rachael and Adam,

Glenn Newton is the former head of the TRA so he is the man in the know,
if you see what i mean.

The skills assessment being the most important part of the whole
process, we felt that we had to get it right so we used the best man
for the job
