Nikki, I've done the same thing, forwarded the AOS request in PDF format
to my assurer. I'm sure this will be fine if your assurer prints it off
and takes it with them.

As far as I am aware from when ours was going though, DIMIA send the
original letter direct to your allocated assurors, you just get a copy.
Cheers Jo

Same Here NIkki. We had the exact the same question in mind when we got
that email from our Agent .We were advised by our agent to take prints
of them. Our Assuror have got their interview on the 15th of July and
they are planning to print the letter. Hope, Centerlink should be OK
with them.
I'll update when everthing goes fine at Centerlink.
But for now, just go ahead and book your appointment. There's a long
queue out there. You'll have enough time to get an answer for this.

In my brothe's case, I am sponsorer and the assurer is some Centrelink
employee who funnily herself process the AOS cases. She had to ask some
other Centrelink employee to process her application and 'got
appointment' of 4th July.
In this case, CO has emailed AOS letter as pdf to the agent which
subsequently was forwarded to the assurer. She (assurer) says the
prinout is ok. On the AOS letter itself the words are used somewhat
like: 'sent by email'
It appears that in new system of DIMIA's emails, the printouts are
acceptable.
Thanks
