hi all,
just wondering,i have been in a de facto relationship for 2 years and my
partner has been in the UK for 15 months, but spent 7 months working as a
live in carer just up the road,we spent time together every day on her
time off, would this course a problem in applying for a de facto spouse
visa as we have not lived together for 12 months,

Shouldn't do, you will just need to provide more evidence of contact,
phone calls, letters from friends, photos, invites, letters to each
other etc to show you had contact during this time. Also gather you have
lived together the rest of the time and you have a good reason for the
time apart.
