Immigration Forum / Australia and NZ / August 2005Help- further medical examination
Last year (13-04-2004) I applied under 136-skilled Independent. As my trade in MODL since this May my agent informed me that my application is on priority processing. So they have asked my med and to be filled the form 1022. Last June I did my med and the panel doc sent the reports to ASPC. That time doc confirmed me that my reports are fine. But this Aug 15 my agent emailed me ASPC needs further medical examination for me. I received the letter from ASPC and had to do 2 x-rays (apical lordotic and additional PA). My concern is why they have asked this? Does this effect with my final decision? If anybody has the same experience, please reply….. If so, they may well want a current Xray to verify you have had no TB exposure. It might be worth checking with your doctor and get your agent to keep you informed. Lots of people have repeated Xrays for many reasons. Put your mind at rest and see if your doctor could help you. I hope it works out for you.
