Immigration Forum / Australia and NZ / September 2005AOS Bond paid ages ago!!
Hi, Our assurer paid our AOS Bond way back at the end of June 05. It's now nearly October and we still have not heard anything. Our medicals and police checks went off in July. Our application was received on 2nd March 2005 (Skilled Australia Sponsored - Subclass 138). It all seems to be taking a long time seeing that we paid our AOS bond so long ago. I've tried to contact our case officer to see if there is a problem but they do not reply - I suppose they do say that they will not normally respond to requests on progress. Anyway, is anybody else in the same boat! I've read Timeline and people on there who have applied in our same visa class at the same time have got their decision. You are not alone Jason. We paid our bond mid august, pcc and meds mid july..no news after that...mailed co but no reply. Hi Jason, You can send a polite email asking your case officer whether he/she needs any further documents or information. I do not see any problem as you have submitted ur meds,pcc and AOS. I'm due to pay my bond next week and have been advised by my agent that it could then take between 4-6 weeks before my visa is granted. Once those 6 weeks are up, if no visa has been forthcoming, I'll be pestering him every minute of the day. Good luck.
