Another cock up by my agent that I have uncovered!

She emailed me a copy of the contact she had from our CO when she asked
for extra info.  She asked for more specific references, for more
evidence of self-employment and that was it.  On the email from our CO I
see he asked for our 1022 form to be returned as well.  So I waited and
waited to see if our agent was going to let us know about this. Pah!!
So last night I sent her an email telling her that we are just about
ready to send off our extra info and mentioned that I had seen our CO
was requesting our 1022 form.  I asked if this just needed to be filled
in, which if that was the case then fine she can do it. Or if it
actually needed to be signed, in which case we would need to actually be
in possession of the form.  Well lo and behold this morning I get an
email back with the 1022 form attached and she says "seems ridiculous
havng to do this form when there have been no change of circumstances.
I would normally cover this in my letter to DIMIA when I send you
additional information, but seeing as you are sending a package anyway
you may as well sign one." !!!!!!!!! Don't know about you lot but it
sounds like a quick cover up to me?

Anyway, what I want to know ut can only trust you guys to get a straight
answer from is........ do we need to sign a 1022 form each or is it just
the main applicant?

Hi,

All the family details were on the form 1022. (myself, hubby and three
boys).
Hubby is main applicant and yes we both signed form. I'm not sure if
this was
correct but I seem to remember it said any applicants over 18  should
sign.
Good luck
Sharon
PS We completed and signed 1 form.

Hi

Yes we both signed ours too.  I'm so glad we didn't bother with an agent
they seem a complete waste of time!!

we both signed it and sent it back to the agent, might as well do it so
they've got everything they need.  Agent filled in whatever was required
(I assume he just wrote no changes as there hadnt been any) :)

I think to be on the safe side, we will fill in "no changes" and sign
one copy, and also sign another copy but leave the agent to fill it in,
then that way she will have what she needs.

Hi Anne,

We filled it with "No changes" and both me & hubby signed it.   Our
agent told us to send it directly to DIMIA as it would speed it up - but
then we have no gripes at all with our agent - they were great.
Really hope you hear something soon.
