Yet another thing my agent HASN'T done!!  On my copy of the contact from
our CO, he has asked us to complete form 1266 skilled matching databse.
It says it is attached but our agent has not forwarded it to us.
There's a surprise!!  Does anyone have a link where I can download it?
I can only find forms numbered up to 1263 on the DIMIA website.

dont think it's on the website, might be best to ask your agent to send
you a copy asap

Hi Anne,

It's just the skill matching pages of the form 47SK, you could send them
that.  Funnily enough, the form isn't available on the DIMIA website or
in the fillable forms available to agents.

However I have to say that skill matching has been an enormous white
elephant and if you were to contact everyone who's applied for PR and
been here on BE or the misc.immigration.australia+nz newsgroup going
back to its creation in 1996, there'd be no more than four or five who
have benefited from it other than in association with STNI or through
some prior arrangement with an employer who's a friend or family member.

Cheers,

George Lombard

Is it normal for there to be a section on the request form from your CO
"inviting you register your details and skill profile on the Skill
Matching Database"?

We have had problems with our agent applying for us under the wrong
category/ hubby now being over 45 since application etc etc. long story.
We have now got to do absolutely everything we can to keep our CO happy
and if registering on the database is going to keep him happy then I am
willing ;)
