All,

I have been performing a little research on austimeline and discover
that many PR visa applicants which uses ACS as their assesment agency
and applied from May 2005 till now, have so few medical request. Is it
the impact of ACS recommendation to DIMIA a couple of months ago that
stated IT jobs in australia are a bit saturated ?

Cheers,

Evlin

Hi Evlin,
I requested in July and did not heared anything about this issue. Maybe
conducting a research based on statistics would help us! or an
experienced person...
Hope to deny that!

I would think the most likely resaon is that these people are not
updating Austimeline (seems to happen quite a lot).

I surely hope so, that those people are not updating their profiles on
austimeline, but up until now most visa applicants who were assessed by
ACS are still on waiting period for their med and PCC request. Compare
to others whose jobs are MODL, all IT professional are on slow lane.

Again, i am just looking at data on austimeline and making assumption.

Cheers,

Elvin

Dear Elvin,
Well.... could you please provide us with some samples? , it seems to me
that if they really want to consider any policy they may easily chnage
the SOL scores.... yet who knows? .As I told earlier seeking reqruitment
websites indicate another thing...I Hope...

Hi all,
Here's one ACS example from pre-summer this year. (see my timeline
below)
We didn't frontload meds and got request after 5  months.
That's, i think, the average time for med request these days..

What ACS recommendation to DIMIA?  Do you have a reference for this?
I'm already worried about IT skills getting less points...

Hi folks,
Taking a fast look at Australian labour news does not indicate this...
but rumors seem worrying.... ACS and other news databases announce a
good market , as well as a simple search on Seek or others.

I got a sponsorship around end of August from Victoria applying under
Analyst/Programmer.  I don't think they would give that unless they
still need IT people in this line of work

I've also been checking jobs each week and there seem's to plenty around
the Melbourne area for my line of work.. I can't comment on different IT
areas though

Dear Aldebaran,
Thank you for comment.
Did you send just a mail to employer advertising the job? or you did it
through an especial channel?

Good luck

I think Alderbaron means means an STNI Nomination from Victoria as he
has experience in the named specialised IT areas - not a job sponsorship
- but I could be wrong.

Tony
