Hi,
Just wondered if anyone knows about medication in Oz. I have an
underactive thyroid & will take thyroxine for the rest of my life. I
presume I will have to pay for this? Does anyone have a clue how much it
is likely to be, or how I could find out?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Here is her reply.. (she works in a doctors)..'It depends on what
tablets. Its not a set cost for everything. Medication is not cheap
really. Could be from around $15 and up'
She is going to have a look in the MIMS book for you tomorrow (thats
oz tomorrow) for the definate cost. I have told her you are on
thyroxine now.

Thanks Cath & it's good of your Aunt to check. If she needs to dose,it's
150mcgm a day.
Hope it doesn't come back too expensive! - don't suppose she gets a
staff discount does she? lol (steve will like that bit)
