can anybody tell me whats the validity period of IELTS exam according to
DIMIA ?

Hi there, welcome to the forum boby.

Whilst I dont know the validity of IELTS, do a search on this forum, I
know its been discussed loads.

If I find anything on it, I shall post it for you.

I believe IELTS is valid for 2 years, but that for DIMIA it is only
valid for 1 year! Welcome to the madness of Australian immigration!

Dear friends,
I would be very grateful if anyone lets me know whether I would have any
problem with my IELTS result dated May 2004 while I have studied my
Master degree in English for about past 1.5 years.

You need to have taken the IELTS taken within tweleve months prior to
lodgment of your main application. even if your IELTS validity expires
after lodgment of your application, doesnt matter.
