Will let you know - mine went off yesterday special delivery with a
special delivery SAE (the instructions tell you to do this). Hopefully
they will be back soon

Passports arrived back this morning - so took exactly 1 week with the
lovely words "allowed to remain indefinitely in Australia"

One thing:
Should I include selfaddressed envelope with my passports and will i pay
also the return? Or is DIMIA going to send it back with 'normal' mail,
can i choose them to use courrier?

hmm, maybe all this is explained in pre-grant, but while we are in
the topic...

Hey, at least you aren't visaless or grantless like most of us out
there!!  Some of us are even requestless!  Hey, don't take it out on a
cat, share it with us.  What happened?

I will when I've got the passports in my dirty mits.

I appreciate what you say, the whole process can be a mare, we joked
when we sent them off,
'imagine if they got lost, how much of a pain in the arse would that
be?'
They haven't been lost..yet!

I'll PM you if you like.

Earlier I was so pissed off and not thinking, duh!! and thought I'd
better ring Lynn and see what she's up to, selected her name on me
mobile (not realising it was the home number) and pressed call, so the
home phone rings, I think FFS, who the f**k is that! No response when I
answer it, strange I think.  Attempt to call her again, home phone rings
again, FFS! I answer the home phone again, again no response!  F*****g
prank callers, that's all I need.

Hello!!! McFly! It's you you horses arse!

Pick Lynn up and she starts talking like that Foghorn Leghorn chicken, I
just start pissin meself with laughter, 'at least I dont phone myself
she says!'
Fair one I said quietly muttering.

It's affecting us I think a little.

I'm off on a course next week to Brisbane (if I have a passport) and
then we're all off for good in March '06

It took over two weeks to get ours back, but we're in Ireland, had a
bank holiday inbetween and, oh yeah, we don't have postal deliveries
on Saturdays......  This is a good one though.  Because I couldn't
enclose a SAE Royal Mail Special Delivery Thingy, I enclosed a £20
sterling bank draft and the kind souls sent it back with the passports
unused!  After all the money we've spent on the tra application, two
visa applications and an appeal fee, it was quite nice just to get
that. :D  Michelle

Hi Max,

We had our visa's granted last Friday, sent our passports off on
Saturday, special delivery with a SAE for the same to come back, and the
postie woke me up this morning at 6.45 bringing them back with the
lovely visa's stuck in.
