Dear All, I think vacation is coming to Aus. Will it delay the procesing timelines ? I think it has some effect. When DIMIA will close for vacation ? If you all have any idea please share with every one. My time lines are given below ... Vis lodged - 5th May Meds/Stat Decl requested - 6th Sep Meds/Stat Decl sent - 20th Sep PCC requested directly from police - 20th Oct Sent (according to the police) 25th of Nov Its 7 months now ????? I was waiting for my Med/PCC/AOS request last year and the Christmas break definitiely seemed to add a week or two to the wait times on average. Hi,we are in the skilled independent category. we submitted all the documents( visa application ) in March 2004, Med., pcc, IELTS..etc request by March 2005 and May25 was the final date and before that our agent submitted all docs. Last month we contacted agent and he then to the case officer. Case officer said it is still being processed !. ha ha ha !!!!! Agent send the copy of the e-mail to me also. How long it will take will I be able to get it > withing this year ??????? befor vacation :):) In the same boat but mine went in the beginning of march, have been told 3 weeks ago that it had been passed on to a manager for some reason, god only knows why but i wanna hear before xmas as well. it doin my head in at the moment esp when i was expecting my visa by mid oct at the lastest. also have heard they have a new manager heading the department so hope this doesn't slow thing up.
