Hi,

I have an old assessment from TRA and then gave me a deeming date on
20-11-2002. I am intend to send my application
to DIMIA this week and I need the 10 points from(specific work
experience).  Actually, I know that I have
to work 3 years after the deeming date to get the points and I
completed it. So, Are these 3 years enough to get the
points or  could DIMIA tell that I need more time?
I feel confused about this case and I would be grateful if someone help
me.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Salam

Deeming dates went by the way over a year ago so you could have
requested TRA to issue a new-style TRA approval - However, as the 3
years past the deeming date is now here, you can just lodge with the old
TRA letter.  As long as you have been in continuous skilled trade
emplyment since the deeming date, this will get you 60 points for Skilsl
and 10 points for Specific Work Experience.

Regards

Tony
