I'm getting a RSMS visa and I have sent my CV to company's in Western OZ
for sponsorship. I have a telephone interview tomorrow morning at 7am
hopefully if all goes well that should be it, or is it I have been out
of work since April and cant find work anywhere. I'm a welder by trade
and was supposed to go to Saudi for 2 months but that fell through at
the last minute, there is work around home but they are still waiting
for the order to come through until then I have to wait. My question is
will my unemployment hinder my application.?

Hi Hutchy,

Current unemployment's irrelevant for an RSMS visa as long as you meet
the other criteria.

Cheers mate my wife and I are going through all the worries at the

Hello Mate,

We are going through the RSMS at the moment and have just heard that the
first stage has been completed (certification of nomination).

There's not many of us about that go on this visa.............good luck
with yours

Hi mate
Just a couple of questions for you if you dont mind, did you get a
sponsor and was it easy where are you off to. We are trying for the
Bunbury area I hope to have a sponsor by tomorrow,we have been told that
this is a fast way to get into OZ how long have you been trying ? Cheers
