Hi there! Thanks to all, for putting up with my whining the last couple
of weeks. I just got a positive assessment from Engineers Australia
today, and it hasn't even been 3 weeks since I sent it in my regular
mail! I can now start writing the testimonial for my prior job
experience, filling in the 47SK and everything!

Congratulations. we are about to start a CDR for the engineers
Australia. I hope we are as successful as you. Well done and good luck
for the rest of your application!!!!!!!

Hope your application goes well. Which aspect of Engineering are you
going for? :) They assessed my degree as suitable for Civil
Engineering, and now what's left to be done is to get a testimonial from
the firm I'm working for (minimum work experience of 12 months)

You know, the positive assessment letter they sent me was just one page
long, with 4 or 5 sentences telling me that it was successful, and to
please use the Contact ID. Quite a bit of a letdown, considering all
the work we put into it! :P

Fantastic news, i had mine a while back and applied as a Mechanical
Engineer (did manufacturing) and came back with Building Engineeer!
Still was 60 points so i was well pleased. Good luck with the rest
of the app.
