Hello All,

I want to have my Engineering degree assessed by Engineers Australia,
but I am not sure if I should try the "Washington Accord" first, or go
directly to the CDR process.

I have a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, from ASU in Egypt.
Anybody knows if Egypt's Engineering degrees are recognized by the
"Washington Accord" or not?

Thanks in advance ...
Hany

You'll need to ask your university directly or if Egypt has an
engineering body that keeps a list of accreditated courses then you may
be in luck and ask them. Otherwise take a chance and send it in
Washington....

Hi Hany,

If you google "Washington Accord" and engineering, or look at the
Engineers Australia website, you'll discover pretty quickly which
countries are included in the Washington Accord.

Cheers,

No you can not go for washington accord because it is is not the

to go for CDC

Thank you all, I actually read the list of countries of the "Washington
Accord" before, but they are quite a few, so I thought that these are
the "founders" of the accord, and other countries' degrees can still be
accredited through cascaded agreements ...

But, anyway, I will go the CDR way to avoid being lost ...

Thanks again,
Hany
