Hi All,
What is the best way to get ENS? Any advice or experience would be
appreciated.
I (hopefully) qualify for SOL listed category "Computer Professional -
Applications and Analyst Programmer"...unfortunately not a language
listed on the MODL. I only get 115 pts (inc $100,000 investment).
Does anyone know the best way to obtain ENS as this is the only way I
believe I will be able to get a visa....should I just email my cv to
numerous, relevant companies and ask if they would sponsor me?
Any pointers would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

Not all that easy unless they have an opening at the time AND can't find
a local to fill the position. Your chances will depend on your exact
skill set.

Hi Jim,
did you consider the way of STNI? I just took a look - your profession
is on the eligibility list of Victoria. I took the STNI-way - because I
got even just 110 points.
Forget about sending your CV to companies. They are not interested. I
sent quite a lot job applications and all I earned was a "come back when
you have a valid working permission" even though they were quite
interested in my qualifications.

Thanks for that Barbara...unfortunately the STNI for Victoria is quite
specific in my fields...it says..
Must have at least two years of work experience in:
- Java; or
- Database Analysis for large scale databases using ERP and Oracle
..which I dont unfortunately have :(
Its frustrating as I have a Java qualification...but no experience!
So you all think its a no for sending CVs to prospective employers then?
