Hi every one,
I had applied in June 2006, and as per Ack from ASPC they recieved my
application on 23 June 2006. Its a 136 Skilled Indep MODL visa
applicantion.(as per DIAC clasification I am from High Risk region).
After Ack there is no correspondence from ASPC. As per automated E-
Mails they are processing 27 June 2006 applicants.
I filled up post-lodgement inquiry form on DIAC site, and got a reply
that I have not been granted a case officer as yet ?. I had
frontloaded PCC with my application,. Now I have also frontloaded my
Meds which recieved in LCU on 19 March.
Is'nt this strange happening with me ? or any body else experiencing
the same. Althogh it may seemed stupid to think but I have started
thinking that why I have not been granted a Case Officer as yet? I am
really getting worried with this all, I have been on this forum since
one year and my nerves are breaking down, how long will I have to wait
further ?. Any one who can shed light on this.
Thanks in advance.

As you're aware that you are from a high risk country, DIAC will very
likely conduct employment verification and possibly integrity checks if
need be.
That said, if you haven't been allocated a case officer, I wouldn't
expect any of these checks to have been kicked off yet.
You should consider the need to re-do your police checks as they should
be expiring soon. The only thing you can really do now is to wait
patiently. If you have an agent, the agent may be able to query DIAC
more successfully than you have, but no RMA can arrange the timely
allocation of a case officer.

Haris,
You probably have a case officer by now but you wouldn't know it
because you have sent everything they need so your case officer needs
nothing extra unless if he asks you so...medicals usually expires after
1 year from the date you did them, so there's nothing to worry about.
But obviously you need to send a new PCC cause they will definitely
ask for a new one.
Besides you were acknowledge so you have a file number, there's
nothing to worry about, I have waited 8 months to hear from my case
officer.
Cheers, Tina
