Hi parchi, I guess it depends on being in low risk country or high risk. Hi again Parchi and all other SIRs here :) Well...about me, I am from Iran and I have filled in online form with no agent. Hi well, in my case.. my applications was received and acknowledged by DIMA in mid august 06 .. AND no news at all from them after that.. when i called they said, i have to wait.. and they are having allots of applications. so.. i'm starting to re think about the whole SIR visa thing.. plus .. I have had some news every now and then from them, but in your case maybe, things are going to happen at more speed a the end and you suddenly recieve your visa! hope it is so... I know if one recieves a negative answer, while he is sure of the right documents, he is permited to ask for recounsidering and they may accept in second time. but i guess you will need a lawyer for help.
