Hi all,
we have received our 136 visa some months ago and we wanted to move to
Melbourne in September (I'm the primary applicant and we are in a
defacto relationship). However, my current employer will most likely
send me to Sydney to deliver a project in the next couple of weeks. So
we will not be able to make the initial entry together. Can anyone
tell me if it is mandatory to make the initial entry together or would
it also be an option that my spouse will enter the country 2 months
later?
Thanks a lot in advance

The main applicant may enter Australia on a 136 ahead of anyone else.
Secondary applicants may then make their own initial entry later on
after that.
