Hi

I have been sponsored by an Australian company and I have got a 457 visa for
4 years at the date, still left 2 years more untill this visa expires.

Is there any pathway to get a PR visa without a sponsorship. I work in a
rural area, I am 27 y/o and I have a degree, also I have a 7 overall in
EILTS, but I have not done my skill assesment, is too much paperwork for me.

Anyone knows any option ?

Kind Regards

Hi there,

You may be eligible for skilled migration.

It is a requirement that you provide a positive skills assessment with
your application.

With the law changes taking effect 1/9/07, you will be able to claim
25 points for achieving a score of 7 overall in IELTS.

regards,
Brendan

Do you have any academic qualification related to your work? What I
suggest to you is that ACT now and do your skills assessment first.

Several PR visa subclasses are listed below without the nomination or
sponsorship.

Skilled Independent & State/Territory nominated independent (subclass
136/137)
Skilled Onshore New Zealand Citizen (sublcass 861/862/863), only if
you are New Zealander.
Skilled Independent regional (provisional) subclass 495. This is
temporary visa for the permanent visa purpose.  This is the visa you
may looking for.

FIRST THINGS FIRST, do your skill assessment first.
