Hi all, I am an Indian Citizen and Australian Permanent Resident. M
Permanent Resident Visa was granted in May'04. While applying fo
Skilled Independent Visa in Jan'03, I included the details of my Spous
in my Application (We are married in Feb 2002). But, I didn't includ
her in the Application, as I wanted to migrate first and take he
later. We are blessed with a girl in Apr'06.

I am planning to move to Australia permenantly in Sep this year an
want to take my family with me. In this regard, I have the followin
queries

1.  Can my family (Spouse & Daughter) travel with me (with any othe
Visa type, like Tourist Visa) and after reaching Australia, they ca
apply for Permanent Residency (Onsite Application).

2.  Or applying for Permenent Resident Visa from India is the onl
option. In that case, Can I go for a Single application for both o
them. Thank

They can do that but there is always the risk that they can be turned away
upon trying to enter the country if immigration suspect she might not be a
'tourist' but is trying to migrate permanently.
