Skills for Visa application

Can anyone tell me if you can apply for a visa using two professions, m
husband has two that are very closely linked one would be assese
through TRA and the other Vetassess, would we anyone advise gettin
both skills assessments done

Hi Shona, I guess if you want to hedge your bets and ensure at least on
profession gets recognised then sure but you'll only be able to use on
of the professions as part of your application! :)

the basic criteria that your husband would need to meet in relation to
an application for Skilled Migration: (summarised)

1) He must nominate an occupation listed on the Skilled Occupation
List (SOL) and have a suitable skills assessment from a relevant
assessing authority for his nominated occupation.

2) He must have also have been employed for 12 months out the last 24
months in an occupation listed on the SOL. This can be a different
occupation to the one that has nominated as above.

His decision on which occupation to nominate should be based on which
nominated occupation attracts the higher points, and also his ability
to achieve a positive outcome from the assessing authority..
