I am an european citizen and my gf is australian, we are living
togheter in australia since the february 2002 . I was on visitor visa
and in october I applied for a visa like a defacto partner. The
interview with dimia officer was disappointing. He was angry because
he had a lot of job and he didnt want more cases to examine. We
brought with us a lot of evidences: bills, photos, cards, statutory
declarations, bank statements, menbership to clubs and all could prove
that we were in a genuine relathionship. He gave us back during the
interview all the photos, all the cards, all that could prove we had a
social life together.I spoke with people that didnt see back their
photo till the process for the visa was finished and they were
surprised about this. Then I dont know if the behavior of the officer
were correct, may be is normal and I am just nervous about that. what
i should do? do I have to send him back all the evidences by mail?
Anyone have an idea ?
Thank for all the suggestion.Sorry for my english.
