It is a visa grant on 29/6/09.
basically iam from Egypt (HR) and J2EE develper (IT)
here are my time lines and some points i guess it might help:

Time lines:
- first visa lodging 15/9/08
did not get CO and had to lodge another application after 8 months o
waiting coz date of IELTS was after date of lodgment
- second visa lodge was 7/4/09
- Victoria state sponsorship granted 3/6/09
- medicals and PCC and form 80 sent on 23/6/09 then PLE sent to C
informing that everything is completed
- happlily visa granted 29/6/09 :clown

Please note than the following is all just a guess from me
- my advice to all of you is go immediatly for state sponsorship
-  Case officers vary from one to another , some look after the 28 o
70 days and some looks if u completed all documents and send a PLE tha
eveything is ready
- front sending Medicals and PCC is always the best, it speed up th
whole process
- never ever lodge an application without completed IELTS results wit
required score in every aspect (reading, writing etc)
- i guess reference checking is done inside DIAC on random bases , s
they do it for some applicants and others go from all documents met t
visa grant directly

It a strange mixture between big happienss and being sad to leave th
place where ur family and friends are living and a place which u wil
miss it's taste

At the end all this process is under one valid statement "it can be
year , it can be tomorrow"

I wish u all the best of luck and to have ur grants very soo
