original copies of certificates (degree etc).

Get them certified by a Notary Public.
Make sure the following are in place.
1. In the seal, notrary's full name, address and telphone numbers ar
legible.
2. NOtary's registration number and the name of the registratio
authority is mentioned.
3. The certification contains the words, "Certified True copy of th
Original"
4. Each page is certified as above

I did it from a Lawyer (Notary).
You can find them out side any court in India.
