Dear All,

I am Australian perminent residence and i have got 175 visa.Still i am
my home country and will leave to Australia next month.Recently i
maried which is not updated to case office.Now i wanted to apply for
my spouse and i think best and suitable visa is 309.Please share
experiences on this visa type and follow the below queries as well.

1)Can i apply for my spouse visa from Australia,Sydney? or is it
necessary for my spouse that my spouse apply herself from home
country,in my case we are from pakistan and our partner visa is not
dealt by local embassy but the DIAC advised us to apply from Thiland.

2)For supporting documents are these documents are enought

  Form 47SP,40 SP,Maried certificate in English,My and partener
Passport,Assurance of support,my salary slips and TAX RETURN etc.

3)will i need to provide some photographs for showing relation with
spouse.
4)Can i provide assurance of support certificate on my behalf.
5)Is there any finincial requirement necessary for this visa type?

Is there any visa rejection cases and if so what is the common
reasons?

Please reply if any one know the single answer.

Also addition to this please clearify the statement of DIAC about
AOS(Below statement).

Discretionary Assurance of Support
In other Family stream visas (that is Partner and Child visas), a
discretionary AoS may be requested where applicants are assessed as
being at risk of becoming a charge on Australia's welfare system. This
request is based upon consideration of the education, skills,
employment history, English language capacity and age of the visa
applicant and sponsor.
