Is it true that it is generally easier for british citizens to
immigrate to canada? Based on the fact that canadian is commonwealth,
and britain is already a "1st world country" along with canada so those
wanting to immigrate would not being doing so to get a better quality
of life.

Being part of the Commonwealth makes no difference at all.

Australia's system tends to make it a little easier for professionals from
certain countries (including the UK/US/Canada) to migrate compared to
others.

Canada's doesn't work the same way.   Other than a full points score for
English, there's usually no advantage.

Ok :) So does being already in a 1st world country help, in that they
wouldn't think that if i was coming from a 3rd world country that i was
just seeking a better quality of life?

No.   The only benefit that citizens of "1st world" countries have is that
they can usually *visit* Canada visa-free.

It makes no difference if you want to *move* to Canada.

What is wrong for the people who are "seeking a better qualilty of life"?
Why do you think Canada doest want people who seek a better quality of life?
Isn't that the main purpose of immigration?
