India is rising to be one of the next great economic powers of the world.

Why are Indian people leaving what is surely to be a prosperous future?

not from india, but going to answer anyway:

1) Why do companies outsource to india?   They can pay someone 10x Less
to do more or less the same job.

2) Why do indians outsource themselves to west?  They can earn 10x More
to do more or less the same job.

Let's face it -- its all about the $$$.

Agreed that Canada is a god foresaken country not fit for human
habitation. Unlike Canada  you can easily find  jobs in India and hope
to save a tidy amout. India is also blessed with good weather all round
the year. But that doesn't deter some people from migrating.
Historically Indians have migrated and settled almost everywhere in the
world. They would migrate to Mars if given a chance.
