I recently received my Landing papers for PR in Canada. I wanted to
know if there is a way to get residency days towards citizenship while
living in the US or elsewhere. What are my options? I've heard a lot of
people do that, while living outside the US, by starting a company,
etc. Would appreciate the feedback.

Thanks.

No, not for citizenship it is days in Canada unless "
Section 5(1.1) applies only where the Canadian citizen spouse is working
with the

public service of Canada or a province or for the Canadian armed forces."

Also remember you have to reside in Canada for 2 years in every 5 year
period to maintain your PR status, unless you are accompanying your spouse
who is a Canadian.
