Can I know whether I can open a company while being on WorkPermit in
Canada? If yes how long does it take and how much money I need to do
that?

Please let me know

Thanks in advance

Sure you can open a company, but you can't work in it, unless you have a
work permit for that company.  Which HRSDC will not approve since the
company would not have been in existence for at least 1 year.

What type of company I need to open so that I immediately transfer my
work permit to my company? I'm getting some good contract jobs...but
those people want me to incorporate so that they can hire me for few
months and execute the contract...how can I achieve that?

please do share your knowledge on how to proceed.

Thanks in advance

You can't work for yourself/contract under a work permit. You have to be a
permanent resident.

Hello PMM...

Thanks a lot for information....could you point some links?

What if I create incoroporation with 1-2 directors who are PR's and
myself alos as director-cum-sole employee and get employed to this
incorp?
If I open a incorporation and dont do any business and apply for my WP
outside canada after my incorporation is it possible to enter canada?
Your information is really valuable..thanks in advance

You simply cannot do what you want to do.  he make up of the new company
does not change that fact so you will have to give up on that option.

You cannot. See the restrictions written on the page that Immigration
officer stappled on your visa page in your passport.
