Hello
We applied for Canadian Citizenship in April 2005. We wrote citizenship
test about 6 weeks ago in Vancouver, BC. Just couple of days ago we
received a letter to appear for hearing in Vancouver.
Currently my husband is working in Seattle, USA on H1B visa. Note we
did spent 1095 days in Canada before moving to Seattle, WA.
Now we are wondering, what would be purpose of this hearing?
What kind of supporting documents we would have to present to CIC?
What type of preparation we would have to do for hearing?
We received a notice along with questionnaire form; it does not talk
about test that we wrote. Does this hearing mean that something wrong
with test scores?
We have collected following documents that we shall be sending to
Citizenship & Immigration Office along with questionnaire.
1. Copies of our passports.
2. Copies of landing documents & PR card.
3. Copies of Driver's License, Health Card & SIN.
4. Letter of landlord where we stayed little over 3 years.
5. Letter from insurance company (We had it for our car).
6. Pay stubs from company in Canada where we used to work.
7. Record of employment letter.
Do we need any other supporting documents?
We would appreciate if someone provide some suggestion and shares
experience.
