I recently had a positive skin test for TB, and a chest x-ray showed
some calcification consistent with either exposure to TB or
histoplasmosis. My doctor concluded I might have inactive TB and has
put me on antibiotics just to safeguard against a future infection.
My question is, has a slightly abnormal chest x-ray (in my case,
calcification/granulomas) ever been a problem for anyone when
immigrating to Canada? (As I said, I do not have active TB.)
Thanks,
Leslie

After the Immigration Medical, CIC may insist on sputum test to confirm that
it is inactive.
