Hi,

My wife and I both have 75 points each and starting to get together al
documentation for the main application. Re work experience, if we hav
first and last pay slip and evidence of nos of days  worked from th
super annuation form (pension details).. with 1 professional referenc
and 1 character reference.. is this adequate for supporting wor
experience criteria?

My wife is the main applicant so do I (spouse) need to give proof o
work experience and character references?

Re language proficiency - English is her native language and she ha
been teaching in UK for last 10 years. Will a letter explaining he
background of English suffice for language proficiency?

If all the documents are in place for the main application approx ho
long will it take for issuing the visa?

Many thanks
Ani

If you are UK citizens and do not require a Canadian Visitor Visa
consider the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) for any province.
Processing Times for a Federal Skilled Worker Application from London
are 25-52 months and for a skilled worker PNP is only 4-9 months
processing time.

What must be in a employment reference letter can be found in the
required documentation list but now the Federal System no longer
requires any supporting documents because they can no longer afford
the storage space. All PNP applications are completed promptly as is
an objective of IRPA so therefore the employment reference letters
are required.

Regardless where you were educated I strongly suggest study and take the
IELTS test to expedite your application.

Just my thoughts.

If you were born and raised in an english speaking country then just a cover
letter to that effect, along with any supporting documents, will for the
most part suffice.
This avoids the time and expense of study where it is probably "not"
required

Roy seems to always support the "PNP" route for people. This is a "VERY
EXPENSIVE" method whos only advantage is speed.
This is not always the best route as lots of people do not have the amounts
of cash it takes.

"IF" you have the cash ? then it "might" be worth a look at........

PNP SKILLED WORKER APPLICATIONS COST NO MORE IN GOVERNMENT FEES THEN
FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER APPLICATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Persons from certain countries can't attend employment interviews and
therefore it is not an option for all. The author is from the UK and
does not need a visitor visa to attend employment interviews. In fact a
UK Citz. can easily get an open work permit for a full year all they
have to do is look at the London Cdn Embassy web page and find the
holiday work permit section under the DFAIT program see foreign worker
manual FW1.

Business persons (entreprenurial) who have to start a business and
employ one non-family member for a full year to have their conditions
of landing removed is not an option for all especially if their great
business idea fails!

PEI loan option allows the person to partner with a company for
$105,000.00 loan option and obtain a management position with the PEI
company. Others PNP business programs have different options but all
depend on the personal circumstances and life styles of the applicant.

A nurse can come to Canada from the UK and get a graduated license and
receive his/her full license when they write the federal exam once
every quarter and then obtain a PNP certificate. Most hospitals would
be happy to employ a UK trained nurse or Doctor. Some PNP sites even
have a skilled worker shortage list.

MANY OTHERS DO NOT EVEN REQUIRE HRSDC APPROVAL TO OBTAIN A WORK PERMIT
-- EXAMPLES ARE CERTAIN IT OCCUPATIONS ETC. ETC.

Roges Hyspeed is one of the main reasons why the NSNP Economic Stream
was cancelled because he gives immigration advice and he is not
authorized to do so nor is he knowledgable enough. Wher does it cost
more to apply as a PNP skilled worker then a Federal Skilled Worker,
Roger???

The Federal government is not complying with the IRPA section 3 (1)
(a), or (f) would you pay a thousand dollars for a couch and wait five
years for delivery when the store claims prompt processing? If a
province can get you landed in eight months from most visa posts as a
skilled worker PNP why does Roger think the cost is too high?

IF YOU WANT A VISA OFFICER TO CALL YOU FOR AN INTERVIEW BY ALL MEANS DO
NOT TAKE AN IELTS TEST COST APPROXIMATELY $200.00 CANADIAN FOR
PRINCIPAL APPLICANT.

LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROCESSING TIMES ROGER FROM 30%
COMPLETED TO 80% COMPLETED IN LONDON VISA POST ITS ONLY 27 MONTHS FOR A
COST OF $200.00 DOLLARS---GREAT ADVICE ROGER!!!!

Guess you did have a bad day eh ?

I am so used to you banging on about the entrepreneur program I went blind
for a moment and misread the PNP bit !
Sorry.....

But your recommendation that a fully English speaking person brought up in
an English speaking country take the test well...................
