I Have Been Reading Post That Are Similar To What My Girlfriend and
Myself Are Trying To Do And Im Getting More And More Confused.I Tried To
Go Over And Visit Her For A Week But Was Refused Entry Into Canada
Because I Didnt Have A Return Ticket, Proof Of Income Or Health
Insurance The Whole Point Of My Trip Was So We Could Talk About Our
Wedding. So I Was Wondering Would It Be Better For Us To Get Married In
The States Or In Ontario And What Forms We Need To Fill Out In Order For
Us To Get Married. I Have Heard About The Spousal Sponsership And Was
Wondering How Long That Would Take And If I Had To Stay In The States
During The Process Of The Application Or If I Could Live In Canada And
How Long It Would Take For My Citizenship. Im In Major Need Of Guidance
Cause We Want To Get Married Before Our Baby Is Born And I Want To Be
There When She Is Born. If Anyone Can Help Me Please Let Me Know.

What is required to get married depends on the location you wish to get
married. Normally its a couple pieces of ID and the fees paid.
You will have to do a medical and prove you have no crimminal
convictions from all countries you have resided in for more then six
mopnths since the age of 18.
It takes almost two months for your partner to be approved through
Mississauga CPC then it is ssent to your visa post which ever that is.
You did not state your nationallity.
The key is proving that there is a bond between you and your spouse see
the bold non-numbered question at the bottom of both you and your
partners questionnaire.
Lots of non-wedding photos showing the two of you very relaxed or
laughing together while not looking directly into the camera helps.
Check the processing times on the right side of the CIC site for inside
and outside Canada most are completed within six months.
If you have a CVV refusal in your PPT be careful about trying to
enter the US.
