New PR application - how long ?

Hi,

I just applied for PR the other week and was wondering how long before they
actually start processing my application and I will be able to see the
progress on the CIC website ?

Also, do they send you any kind of official acknowledgement or will I hear
nothing until the AIP stage ?

click on discussion forum, u'll find plenty of information and other
resources about the immigration process.

to see timelines of other people who've applied for a PR status.

Or just visit the CIC's website and look up your category and post in the
processing times area
