Dear all,

do you know, whether
-- I can start sponsoring my mother next day after landing?
-- My mother can get a visa to visit me in the meantime (will my
sponsoring application decrease the chance of visa issuing?)
-- I can use the money on my saving account (with for example CAD 50
000 on it) but NOT a proof of a regular income (cause I might need
time to find a job) in order to proove, that I can support my mother
during her 3month long stay with me in Canada?

Thank you very much in advance for your information.

1.  You can't sponsor your mother until you have earned sufficient to meet
the Low Income Cut Off figure, which depends on the no. of persons in your
family and the no. in your mothers.
2.  She can apply for a TRV, and may get it if she has sufficient ties to
her home country.
3.  Note the processing of the application for her will be somewhere between
3 and 6 years depending on where she resides.
