New car thats not on GOOD TO FOLLOW list / Living in Canada - Working in US

We are all set to move to Canada for good in First week of September.
If experts (or people with experience) can  please answer my questions
below, that will be really helpful.

- My personal car that i declared during Landing got wracked and
totaled in an Accident last month and I had to buy another car for
personal use. Is there any way I can take this car as duty free ? I do
have police report and statement from Insurance company about the
accident mentioning the fact that my car was not repairable and was
junked. Can i add this on my Good to Follow list now?

- My employer has offered me to move to Canada but still work full
time for them ( I am with them from last 7 years almost). I am an IT
professional and it does not matter much for my employer if I am
physically present in US or not. I have decided to setup a home office
and keep working for them and they will deposit bi-weekly pay to my
local ban here in USA.  Is it even possible ? If yes, what is the best
way to do it (Inc etc?) and what are the cross border tax implications
for this?

Also I have a baby girl  (2 years old) who is not a Canadian immigrant
but is a US citizen, Just want to make sure that she will be able to
go with us to Canada and we will apply for her immigration once we are
there.

Any help on above mentioned questoin will be rally appreciated.

Here are the answers"

1) You don't have to take the car with you.  The immigration officer won't
even ask.  All he will ask is what are you declaring and what will follow.
What you already declared before does not matter.

2) Nice employer.  Why not work even less.  Offshore your work and just
enjoy Canada ;)  There are lot of tax repercussions.  When you try to enter
the US they will give you a hard time because you won't be able to show your
ties to Canada since you are working for a US employer.  They will consider
that ties to US and not allow entry.   Can't your US employer just wire you
the payment in Canada.  They will clear up lots of things for you.

3) I don't see any problem for your daugther.  Make sure you apply for her
immi immediately so that she can get her Health Card.
