Hi!
I recently got married. My husband is a Canadian citizen and I am an
American citizen. We are planning for me to come there. At this point
what could/would we need to do for me to move to CA without our
paperwork and just apply for my status through the paperwork for
someone that is already living in canada? Or more clearly- could the
border patrol stop me at the border with my stuff even though we have
a marriage certificate? Or could I still move for the 6months I am
allowed without any special paperwork?
I guess I am just asking... what are our options PRE paperwork?
Thanks for your help!

The answer to the subject... "now divorce" ;)
ok I was just joking. U married a Canadian, how lucky can u be.
Its best to apply for immigration, it only takes 8 weeks to get all the
paperwork then enter canada. u bring bring all your stuff along with you
and you will get health insurance in 90 days.

You can come to Canada for the purpose of being sponsored for permanent
residence as a spouse. Bring what you need and declare your intentions to
the Border Services Agent when you arrive. Check out the CIC website where
you will find all the important details including forms, guides,
documentation requirements etc. Its at www.cic.gc.ca
