Hi Jim,

Yes  my wife has sponsored me.  We had an interview in Delhi in June -
in which the immigration oficer determined that  our relationship was
genuine.  As I was deported from Canada - I then was asked to apply
for ARC (Authorization to return to Canada).  After that - we were
called in for a second interview in September for ARC.  At this
interview the immigration officer told us that the decision forARC
will be sent to us in the mail.

What we are wondering about is - for ARC - is the timeframe - and
despite the genuineness of the relationship - can they refuse an ARC?

Any help you may be able to provide woudl be appreciated!

There is no time frame for ARC and yes they can still refuse, if the ARC to
refused.
