I am a college student attending classes full time and not working. I am not
working and my apartment and living expences are all paid by the $1.000
dollars my dad gives me every month. Twice the border has called me in to
prove that I am not moving to canada to live with my boyfriend. He totally
pays my expences when I visit. They in fact call him to make sure he is
expecting me and asking how long I am visiting just to compare our stories.
No problem there. But what should I bring to verify how my expenses are being
paid? Would it help to have a notorized letter stating that he will pay for
any expenses I have while staying in canada. The border lady from canada
suggested I bring in a bank statement showing the money I have. No I am not
moving up there just visiting but we will apply for residency soon.
