When i read the job offers in Canadian newspapers and the company offers
15$/hour, how much will be finally paid to the employee?
Here in Germany if you see ads with 15?/hour, it means the employee gets ca.
10?/hour.

A very quick and very rough calculation:

If paid $15 / hour and working full time, you could expect to bring
home around $11.55 / hour after taxes, Canada pension, and employment
insurance.

In Canada due to higher taxation the trend is to work as contractors.
Centain areas like plumbing , renovation, electrical work people earn
pretty good.
I know an MBA from U of Toronto who quit working in ScotiaBank and now
works
as a renovation guy and earns 140K a year

This is in contrast to US where due to large number of illegals the
wages in
these professions are pretty low.

Truck drivers in the middle alberta (Fort  McMurray) area also quite
good. However renst are high and weather is
bad there.

Here is an example

300 to 400 /day is good as such. By truck drivers I mean a whole range
of heavy vehicles.

The problem is that Canada does not offer any job. In fact, the
immigration process does not consider jobs availability.
Therefore it is likely to be a disconnect between what kind of
people accepted into the immigration system and what kind of job
available to them.

IMHO the immigration policy is more concern on getting people
less likely to become criminal or dependent on social
assistance, willing to take any job to avoid those.
