Hi,

I am a landed skilled worker. I landed in Aug 2005 then left for home
country, got married on 2006 and just came Calgary, Canada few months
ago.

I am planning to Sponsor my wife but she is in last stages of her
pregnancy (7 months) and she cannot do Medical tests (X-ray).

So i am planning to start the process only after the delivery of the
baby.

How early can i start the process after the delivery of the baby?

Is there any other best alternative to my plan.

Please advice.

Thanks,
Mav

You can start as soon as the baby is born.  There are no real alternatives.

Some physicians would do x-rays on pregnant women with LEAD gown to protect
the baby.  In our case, I had my wife's medical exam while the baby was 7
mos., flew to Canada at 8 mos., and was born in Canada after a month.
