Hi! We submitted PR application last year to the buffalo office.
Received our AOR Jan this year. We then received a letter from the
embassy that our files was transferred to the Detroit local office on
Jun. Around end July, we were asked to re-submit employment letter
with necessary information outlined in the letter. We have not heard
back since then. My question is: at what stage is our application at
this time? Are we pass the initial assessment? Will the next step be
a request for medical? Or are they still assessing our application
and there is a chance that we will be interviewed? We're hoping that
application will go on smoothly... but have no idea right now at what
stage we are in, how much longer to wait and what to expect next.
Any perspective, thoughts on this appreciated. Thanks!

They were assessing your application to see whether an interview might be
required. You should hear from them in due course but remember that Summer
is their busy season.
