Need notarized copies?

Hello,

I received a request for additional documents to prove my relative is
residing in Canada and some more personal employment information. I
have received original bills and property tax forms from my relative
in addition to a photocopy of her Canadian passport. I also have
gathered up old pay stubs for my employment history. My question is do
copies of these documents need to be notarized or can I just make
copies myself? The letter requesting additional documentation simply
asked for "proof" of these and was not more specific.

Thanks in advance!

AFAIK, as a rule, you only need to submit anything more than
photocopies when explicitly requested.
