Hi,
I have applied for Canadian Immigration in Family class. The case is
under processing.
If my spouse (Canadian) visit me, will it hamper the chances of
getting Immigration Visa? Or, Could it delay the process?

Please help.
Thanks

I waited until I was approved as eligible to sponsor and application transferred to my wife's country for further processing. So I
wouldn't have to worry about missing any important phone calls or letters from CIC about application. I fly off to visit her on
Thursday. :)

Did your wife get her acknowledgement letter that the Manila embassy
received the application from Mississauga yet?  When were you approved?  You
submitted your application on the date I was approved as sponsor, and we're
still waiting for word from the embassy in Manila. E-Client status still
says "Not Available" for her PR side.

Application received in Mississauga August 1.
Approved as eligible sponsor September 2.
My wife hasn't received acknowledgement from Manila yet. But she didn't even get the birthday card I sent her with nothing worth
stealing inside. Since you haven't received word yet from Manila it seems we have to wait another month at least before we hear word
(if the process is consistent). Let's hope they get things going before the pre-Christmas period. E-client only says about my
approval and that application forwarded to Manila so there is not even a "not available" for her PR side. Did your approval in
Mississauga take around 32 days like mine did, Gerry? Just wondering so I can make estimates in the future, but every application is
different.
