I went through this few months ago.

No, in most cases there is NO interview for the removal of conditions.
Only in a small percantage of cases, where there is a cause, a
discrepancy of sorts or if thhe UCIS feel that the marriage is not bona
fide, will they call you for an interview. This does not appear to be
your case and your wife need not come with you, nor are you required to
bring any proof of your ongoing marriage.

They will take care of that

You will get a stamp in your passport at this time and that will allow
you to travel and the stamp is a substitute for the green card

Frankly, you should get your passport renewed BEFORE you have it
stamped. Many countries require that your passport is valid for more
thna 6 months. Also, the stamp you get will not be transferred into your
new passport and the actual Green Card may be delayed, so its probably
wise to get a new passport now, rather than later.
