Someone remind me if I'm supposed to already know this...
There are 3 individual USCs who've posted on vj that their I-130 is
being transferred from the Service Center to the Local Office before
adjudication and the USC is being requested to attend an interview.
Any thoughts? I've not seen this come up before & all I can think is
that it is some new way to deal with doubts/questions about the I-130?

I've only heard of it recently myself. Does seem strange since normally
if one is stateside when it is approved you can't adjust status until
the filing and adjudication of the I-485.
Will continue to check out the thread to see if anyone brings some
insight into the issue.
